Hope everyone is having a relaxing week with with your families - this is Davis and cousin River in the tub. The studio will be closed from today through the weekend. We rented a condo in South Haven with my sister and her family. We’re just hanging out around the fire with the kiddos, and we’re going to the outdoor ice skating rink tonight. Let me know if anyone can come out, you know I’ll have my camera!
I’m at a coffee shop trying to weed through emails, and I’ll do the best I can to get a dent in it, but I’ll still be available on my cell or email if you need anything.
Enjoy the sunshine today.

11.26.08Kathie and Brian’s Wedding
11.18.08
Probably one of the sweetest weddings I’ve ever shot. Kathie’s brother and I grew up together through high school, so it was awesome to see Dave, his wife, and cute little boys too. So it was like spending the day with family. Here is their slideshow highlights

I’m trying to use these little story boards for my blog. Let me know what you think.
I don’t think anyone love grannies more than me. This is when Kathie’s grandma peeked into see her.
Kathie and Brian decided to see each other before the wedding which was great. It was pretty emotional, but then we cruised around the Gull Lake Country Club for portraits together.
Kathie’s maid of honor had this special locket made for her bouquet. It’s from a letter that Kathie’s dad wrote to her before he passed away. I can’t think of anything more thoughtful and touching.
You are so beautiful when you smile.
They had the ceremony lakeside, and Brian walked Kathie down the aisle. There was a piano solo from Romeo and Juliet, and there wasn’t a dry eye there. I could hardly focus.
Of course there were tons of cute kids playing in the sunshine and bubbles
The FIRST time I’ve seen a knife break during the cake cutting. Promise it had nothing to do with how moist and yummy it was though.
When Brian’s mom stopped by the studio last week she said that the photo booth was the highlight of the reception. How fun is that.
Kathie and Brian had a grand exit through a row of sparklers and they literally jumped on a boat and took off for their honeymoon
Thanks so much for sharing your day with us. I absolutely love your family.

It seems like my Mondays are full of randomness. You know. Seems like I post all of that on my Facebook Page now, probably because it doesn’t seems
